The KLA parent teacher association (PTA) supports and speaks on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before government bodies and other organizations who make decisions affecting children. The PTA also assists parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children and encourage parent and public involvement in U.S. public schools.

We would love to have you as part of the Kenwood PTA. Every year it’s important to improve our students’ experiences at school. Whether it’s by purchasing new furniture for our library, Scholastic magazines for students, new library books, recess equipment for our classroom cohorts this year, or providing fun experiences for our students through the year like our school dances and carnival.

Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m., at the Kenwood Library or virtually via Google Meet.  The annual membership fee to become a voting member of the PTA is only $10—a small investment for a large impact on your child’s school experience!
