Our School
Kenwood Leadership Academy Magnet School is a neighborhood magnet school. We serve students in preschool-5th grade from the city of Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas. Our students and staff are committed to living by the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. This is the foundation of our school that is rooted in the Leader in Me through Franklin Covey. While on this journey we have been able to provide our community with educational choice for their students. We have been honored by Franklin Covey as a Lighthouse School and Magnet Schools of America as a School of Excellence. These honors are evidence based and achieved through our results on student achievement, family engagement and community involvement.
